Bagby Campground and Recreation Area — Reviews

The camp sites are expensive for what you get. The bathrooms were constantly out of toilet paper and wrecked from other guests. The rule of being quite 11pm-7am did not apply.

Stayed in site 3 this time...much better stay...bathrooms were attended regularly, so I'm hoping they were good. We were in our travel trailer so we did not use. Water was perfect for swimming...not cold at all. Was packed fri through sun, but very quiet Sunday night. Only us and a tent camper.

It is a very nice campground. It is well taken care of and we had an enjoyable stay. We were the only campers there our first night…it was kind of strange at first but it ended up being very peaceful!

Due to the fire we were redirected to Horseshoe Bend campground. Really can’t rate our stay

The good: it’s across the road from the beach and there’s lots of activities for kids. (I think they rent most stuff, as opposed to checking it out) The bad: the woman who took my reservation said we had an ocean view spot, I was on speakerphone and have witnesses. There’s is no way ANY RV spot on the property has an ocean view, they used a drone for the website photo. The pull-through sites are close together with sewers by the neighbor’s picnic table. Way overpriced. The high stars are from previous owner’s reviews we discovered too late.

The Bagby campground was one of the most beautiful camping sights I've ever been to. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling in an RV to stop here. I was traveling with some friends for a graduation trip, and it was such a nice and relaxing place. Definitely a hidden gem!
