Barton Springs Campground — Reviews

Bathroom facilities were ALL awful! They need a massive cleaning and update, no shower curtains on some. Very dissatisfied.

Beautiful campground, so quiet.

A great place to stay. I do wish sewer connection were ar the campsites.

As always the rv’s work great for us to have family come in to visit. Hope they keep them there.

tour site had to much incline for tent camping. Ants were terrible, no playground for kids

Campground was clean and well groomed. Given 4 stars because the bathhouse closest to the swim area was dirty and in disrepair.

We always take our final weekend camping trip of the year at Barton Springs! It’s one of the few LAKE campgrounds still open. The weather is always iffy but this year we had a gorgeous 74 degree Saturday and beautiful Fall colors! My only complaint is that site 35 is not level anymore. You have to add a lot of blocks/levelers and then your camper steps are very high off the ground. It just needs some new gravel. But regardless, we will always return to Barton Springs!

We were in 35 and we loved it we have Jetski this spot gave us easy way to get to our Jetski but we have been camping here for a few years now we normal get 19 or 20 which are very good spot also I think maybe the management may have changed which is a very good thing these folks are very nice always smiling which makes your stay even nicer but I think any lake sight u get here u will be happy the only thing it really really needs is a playground for kids nothing spectacular just a few swings maybe a slide my young grandkids always ask were the playgrounds .
