Very nice full hook-up site with concrete pad! View from site #6 was great and the area was very peaceful!

All was great. This morning, as we were getting to leave, it appeared that a bear or something had gotten into the dumpster, pushed the lids into the dumpster and had shredded several garbage bags on the ground.

The camp was quiet and clean. Beautiful views.

Pads were nice, spots were easy to access and close to everything we visited.

This 12 extra long and wide enough spots with full hookups was perfect for our rig. While the gated campground doesn’t offer a bath house, showers or laundry, these are not things our self contained unit needs when we have full utilities. This basecamp is in a great location for outdoor adventures. Lakes, trails, and winding mountain roads are all around the park. Less than a mile from a well stocked convenience store and less than two miles from an Ace Hardware we found our needs easy to meet. Basecamp is an hour from Greenville, two hours from Asheville, and Maggie Valley.

I absolutely love campgrounds like this. Easy access, full hookup, and no frills. I know, sounds crazy but if I find campgrounds like this they immediately go on my favorites list. Will be returning.
