Host was very friendly. Clean and quiet location was exactly what I was looking for and that is exactly what it was. Club house is very large and has pretty much everything you would need. Bathroom and showers very clean!

The location of this campground is what makes this campground special and its FHU. The negative is getting to it.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and very clean. We loved being close to the wildlife refuge. The roads coming in were a little rough. We’d love to come back again for a peaceful weekend and go fishing. We loved it! The staff member that we met was so nice and welcoming.

This is a beautiful, peaceful park. It's off the beaten path, which makes it the perfect place to get away from the world for a while and contemplate the wide blue skies hovering over the prairie.

The Battlehill website sent us to your Campspot reservation site. You showed several sites available. We chose #7. After a 3.5 mile trek down a dirt and gravel road that coated RV and tow car completely in brown dust (to be honest, we knew about this), we arrived to find only one pullthrough site available (you had it as the only UNavailable site. All the “available” pull through were taken, and those looked like long-term campers. Your inventory did NOT match what was reality. The sewer took 3 10 foot sewer hoses to reach. No pick nick table, and a tick infestation. Needless to say, we regretted choosing this campground. We will not be back, and we doubt that we will reserve through Campspot in the future.

Jamie was beyond helpful! For instance, we got mixed up on directions on arrival, and she jumped in her truck to come meet us and have us follow her!

Enjoyed our 2 day stay. Loved the full hookup gravel pull thru site. There is a beautiful hall with tons of room to have a party with a kitchen . A perserve is nearby to look for Bison and other wild life. Would stay again.

The registration was easy and it didn’t require any check-in. The facilities all worked as planned.

We enjoyed our stay and everything worked as it should. The group we were there with rented the community building for a large party and it was great. 3 things that I felt could be improved. First the gps address took us to the next road over to the East, and once we were there we had to take a sharp turn in a loop to get back to the correct entrance road. Second if the Park entrance sign would have been more visible before we drove past it we never would have had to experience the tight turn with a 41 ft camper. Third and it’s more minor, but the sewer dump in site 18 was higher than the parking area for the camper inhibiting proper drainage. The first two points could have been addressed in the confirmation email along with the WiFi password I finally got from another guest. Overall nothing that even remotely stunted our trip, but can easily make it better for future guests.

It was a very nice campground with helpful managers. Loved the laundry facility and very reasonable price. The only negative with the long dirt road to get to it.
