I would have given a 5 star rating as the grounds and sites were well kept and maintained. Beautiful views of the lake and decent amenities such as a well maintained playground, clean outhouses and lots of free split wood. It rained hard for a day while we were there but was beautiful nonetheless. The only reason for the 4 star rating was the. Each was pretty muddy and we discovered leaches on our son after paddling a little. Again, not a deal breaker but we decided not to use the water anymore and that’s a large part of what we look for in a campground.
