Well, this RV park has pros and cons. We booked and paid online. We got a call from the park who let us know that the check-in was closed at 4 p.m. but they would have the info at the front, all ready for us, which they did. We were told if there were any issues to call and leave a message, they would call back. All positives! (We did end up being a late arrival.) The negative, we had been given a site that was too small for our rig and someone was parked in it from the site next door to it. So we called and yes, they did call right back and allow us to remain in the spot we parked in which was a definite positive.! The rest of the negatives are just nit-picky. But I'm tacky enough to site two of them. The website makes it seem like the river is just a few aisles from where we would be parked, when it is in fact at least a quarter of a mile away. I was under the impression I could walk half a block and sit on the banks of the Ohio River. Another negative is they have a catch and release pond that was so filled with green algae, it was rather gross. <sigh> Ok, I'll stop my nit picking. I originally gave it three stars but really, they did a great job at getting us a spot and fixing a potential problem quickly, I had to up it to 4. But, If you want to see the river, pay the higher price. 🤗
