Once our site was figured out, the rest of the was was good. Ate at the restaurant on Friday night. Check in was at the bar. A little different from other campgrounds.

The bathrooms were rather pitiful…the campground hadn’t been resigned after “Frank” purchased it..it’s quite confusing…Donna, a summer resident was VERY helpful, she was a blessing. Our site was large and shaded, level. We had water/electric, fire ring and picnic table. Wonder spot to walk our dog..there’s a lake for swimming that many were enjoying. There are two restaurants in the front parking lot. There needs to be a dumpster place within the campground…there’s only dumpsters require quite a walk or to load the trash in your vehicle and take to the dumpster. I don’t know about weekdays but there’s a Tiki bar with live (loud) music on Friday nights…The owners were very accommodating when we asked for a delayed check out in or to go to church.Great place for children and perfect for boaters as the river just across the road. We would stay there again.

It was very quiet. The showers had body wash and shampoo and conditioner. The town of Fremont and the Wolf River area as a whole seemed a nice place to visit.

Just wish there was a camp door to check into her to talk to somebody but the communication was great through text messages and email

The online map doesn’t show my campsite being in front of the gate to the swim pond and some coarse sand could be put down and around some of the sites to help with the mud right in the actual sites which would help with the mess. People kept walking through our site to go to the swim pond , it was non stop adults & kids.

Very clean bathhouse and friendly, helpful staff.

Booked a night last minute. Had a spot right next to the swimming Pond which was really nice. Will definitely stay again.

All was great, hard to find our camping spot though. And all a bit crowded.
