Birchview Farm Campground — Reviews

Nice campground and clean cabin, at good rate! Booked last minute with ease.

This campground has a lot of potential. Our site was lovely with a large grassy area surrounding the site and a large grassy area in the back. This served us well as we used it to walk our dog and acted as a natural break with the neighbors in the next row. We struggled with the area on the front side of our site and about five sites down. Our view from the bonfire pit (which was left full of garbage from the precious visitors) was a graveyard for old Airstreams. They clearly had not been in use for years and one even had busted out windows. Down a few spots were piles, and I mean piles, of discarded building material such as broken crates, PVC piping, cinder blocks, etc. It appears that about 90% of the park is housed with permanent/ looong term residents. Many RV’s were nice and well maintained but many were not. The camp “store” was nonexistent unless you wanted small bags of chips and pop. There was live entertainment on Saturday night at the bandstand and was well attended by the residents. The pool was nice and very clean.

Easy reservations, great activities! We have been going to Birchview for about 15 years. The staff is always helpful and friendly!

Excellent facility! Great campsites and extremely friendly and helpful people.

There was nothing to do. No hiking trails. As we walked around, on the lower road were your burning pit and metal junk is, is an eye sore. It needs to be of the beaten path or an area fence off.

Overall good and quite

Staff was very nice , grounds were clean and quiet . Nice pool .

The sight wasn’t even close to being level. Couldn’t get level if front tires were 10” off the ground!!

We had a great time the people were very friendly!! we had fun doing the adult craft and Bingo was a lot of Fun!! Loved our sites campground was nice and clean!

I gave 5 stars because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The craft was excellent. The facilities were very clean. Bingo was fun and the campsites were spacious. Can't wait to go camping there again.

Nice and quiet

When we first arrived, I believe Mary was her name. She said she had moved us to a site she thought would be much better! To our surprise it across from two beat down abandon trailers. Not something you would want look at for our week stay. So we asked if possible to be moved only to find out most sites were so sloped we had to use cinderblocks two high and our stepping stool just to use our RV step. If that wasn't enough we were each scolded on two occasion about going over 5 mi. speed limit the second time we were definitely conscious of our speed, as she scolding us she was holding up one of her employees who had been on the trail behind us as if we were holding him up in his golf cart! As the days went by we continue to see staff speeding by our site. Very disappointing!

The sites were really nice and clean! The bathrooms were kinda rough, cleanish, but there was mold everywhere. The women in the front office seemed irritated when we asked for a map and when the general store was open til. Besides those two things the overall experience was good. The landscape, pool, pond, and playground were really nice.

Nice and quiet, plenty of things to do, and the sites are well manageable. Worth a stay!

Everything from the reservation process up until it was time to leave was excellent. The facilities were clean and in great working order. The staff was friendly and helpful. The other guests were also very friendly. Planning on going back next summer when the pool is open.
