Bison Trail RV Park — Reviews

I was thrilled to be so close to the bison for starters! Camping area was super clean and well cared for. Tommy was a joy to talk with and he provided reading materials that I enjoyed as well. Hookups were working well (can’t remember the last time the water didn’t leak). Beautiful concrete patio and great level spot. Scenery and surrounding serene and calming. I’ve camped at a lot of places and this rates right at the top for me. I’ll be back!!!!

Nice quiet spot on a dead end road. We loved the swing and the bison!

Very small campground (14 or 15 sites in total) way out in the country. No amenities other than great sunrises, sunsets, stargazing and regular up close views of bison wandering in the paddock next to the campground. The owner (Tommy) is very pleasant to interact with and greeted us with a packet of information about the local area. Greensboro is pretty close, and Winston Salem is about a 45 minute drive.

The location and the site we had were grand. Was able to see the Bison while sitting outside with a campfire. Tommy was very friendly and welcoming. Site was easy to get in and out of. This was an overall great location to get away from the everyday life. Would stay again!!!

Quiet and beautiful. The owners are amazing and very helpful. Where else can you wake up in the morning go outside and watch bison graze. Completely enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The camp ground is nice. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed looking at the buffaloes. My only issue is that the spots are a bit tight. It worked and we had no issues.

Great RV park very quite and relaxing

It was a beautiful place. Quiet beautiful country. It’s on the property of a bison rancher. We saw several bison. Several different occasions. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! Tommy was incredibly attentive and accommodating, and the property is beautiful. The sites are clean and level, and we had a direct view of the bison out of our back window. Very serene, and we will definitely be coming back!

Awesome small RV park. Beautiful and quiet!

It was a wonderful stay. Met some of our neighbors and truly enjoyed their company. Mr. Tommy was very friendly and helpful. The property is very nice and well maintained. We look forward to coming back again.

Very easy to find good directions. Nice quiet spot. Clean and our spot had a beautiful view of forest and bison. Owner came over to check everything great and lent us zn adaptor for the electric from 50 to 30 as we for got ours.

This place is a gem! My wife and I stayed a couple of nights, it was a quiet and relaxing. The owners were wonderful and love meeting people. They have a small herd of very well cared for bison that we got to observe from our site. We’ll be returning for sure.
