Black Hills Trailside Park Resort — Reviews

The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.

The tent sites had no shade and there was a lot of traffic on the near-by highway, and in the campground as well, until quit late at night. The bathrooms were in excellent shape and the shower, after biking all day, was very much appreciated.

Park was really nice, except the hwy right next to it. Yes it was creek side as it said but didn't say anything about the hwy directly right behind it. It was very noisy with 18 wheelers and motorcycles going by all hours of the night. Other then that it is close to town and a really nice bike trail next to the park.

They advertise a creek there at our spot. No creek at this campground, only a grown up weeded ditch!!

Everything went well. We weren’t to fond of sitting next to the neighbors sewer lines but other than that it all went well

Carey was very helpful, everything was clean and in order. Great place to stay.

The campgrounds are well manicured and well lit. The bath house is exceptionally clean with plenty of space and nice accommodations.

Lovely well kept park with easy access and central to many of the areas attractions. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, spacious and plenty of hot water. Staff helpful and check in and out were smooth and easy.

This place is simple, but clean and peaceful. Trail access is unbearable and the staff is wonderful. We will be back

Trailside is an amazing place to stay! Friendly staff, clean facilities, great WiFi. Everything was perfect!

We had a great time at this campground. The staff were amazing. The creek that runs through the property was perfect keeping our grandson entertained during our down time. The campgrounds location is perfect! We would highly recommend this campground.

The camp hosts were friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Nice cabin. Bed was comfortable. Great location to get to all the parks. Wish there was an iron skillet to cook sides on the grill. But other than that we loved it!

Easy to find off the main road. Convenient to local attractions (Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse Monuments) as well as restaurants. Super access to the Mickelson Trail. Would stay here again.

The spot we had was. I s though there was ongoing construction going on as they are adding more cam spots in the park the location was great.
