The hosts were very accommodating. I showed up late in the evening. They welcomed me immediately and showed me to my site. I told them where I was headed, north into Tennessee, and they gave me several ideas about routes to take and things to see on my trip. I was on my Harley and the host chatted with me and showed me his bike. They offered drinks and told me if I needed a shower, they had a room open at the inn that I could use to clean up and get settled. They set up a lantern on my site so I could set up my tent for the night. I slept well, and was able to get up early and get right back on the road. Thanks Blackbird for the hospitality! Next time I am headed that way, I will definitely stop in again! They were in the process of some major renovations as well (adding a swimming pool!) so I caught them at an inopportune moment and they were very welcoming.
