Blue Inn Campground — Reviews

We stayed 1 night. Campground not suited for larger campers. Very narrow road and very tight for maneuvering and parking camper. Power hookup at back of campsite requiring an extension. Water hookup on wrong side of camper.

We paid for a tent site and there were none. We were told by a person at the office (that was closed) to just pick av RV site and it would be OK. Turns out the RV sites were booked for the weekend. Had to drive an hour to get a hotel.

This is a camp spot that has seen better days. It does have good WiFi.

We were there for 5 days, we never saw a single person looking after the property. The property was not maintained, it was in desperate need of a good clean-up! The smell and flies from the trash area prevented us from sitting outside. The stream of water that flowed through was smelly. No one in the office, phone call never answered. The pictures and reviews are obviously not true. The place was appalling. We tried to get into another place but were not able. We spent our time inside. Monticello was very nice but not this place!!!

The campground was clean. T-mobile wifi worked good. The campground is only about 200 yards off of Main street so lots of road noise.

Needed a spot toIowa, in our tent overnight on our way through iowa. The reservation was so easy and straightforward, the community was very quiet and felt homey. We were only there at night but it was a great experience, 10/10 Would Recommend
