I’ havev visited many times! this time was extra special. I had my wedding at cabin three and it was the most magical day ever the staff was so accommodating to every request I had. Not your typical spot for a wedding, but it worked very well.

The place was excellent and Friendly. If your into rc crawlers it is camping heaven. The only reason for 4 stars is the upper bathroom near the Blue Rocks is a little rougher, and was out of hand towels on two different days. Also I really wish more of the spots had full hookups, but with that being said I knew that when I booked, and they have good dumping facilities. We will definitely be back.

It’s a great family campground. Good hiking trails and plenty of activities for the kids to do.

PROS: Lots of amenities. Swimming, playground, a nice restaurant with reasonably priced food. A store with anything you need, gem stone water mill, off roading trails CONS: the tent site we stayed at was a little too rocky that’s my only con on the site its self the outhouses were exactly what I thought maybe they could use a air freshener the showers were dirty but I wouldn’t expect more this place is overall a great place for the weekend trip

Had a great time. The staff was kind and courteous. Ranger Sue really helped us out a lot. Definitely would recommend this place.

This was our second time there, everyone is so friendly and in both stays respectful and neighborly. The terrain is a little deceiving, definitely tight unpaved roadways but folks pull over and are polite. Very hilly!!

Super access to the AT and good amenities at a reasonable rate.

Very hard to nevigate, "roads" are narrow, rocky (but to be expected some) and turns are too sharp for camping rigs, ours is just a 26 ft rv, i can't imagine anything bigger making it. And the major issue is the maps not matching the roads, only 2 signs directing you to lot numbers, so missing like 3/4 of them. We literally drove for 20 minutes to find it & the next day still had a bit of trouble figuring it out. I could deal with this & not have a major issue with it, but the highly aggrivating part was: We arrived at midnight & had no way to get into the campground, was not provided a gate code or any tag that would open the gate, no reservation package left for us like most places do. We hit the call button (which says to do so for late check in) no answer. Had to Google a phone number, person who answered had no clue how to help. Got a phone call from a manager or maybe the owner, she wanted us to sit & wait for someone to show up & let us in. We had been driving for hours (as should be anticipated when traveling! So late night arrivals should NOT be unprepared for) she made it out to be our problem that we got there late. My daughter was going too arrive an hour after us & when asked how she was going to get in she literally told us to have her park outside the gates & make her walk to the site! After a few minutes of us telling her we are tired & just want to get situated, i told her the easy solution for everyone is to just give us the gate code like any other park does! She reluctantly agreed & told us we needed to come to the office in the morning to get our car tags. She was very condescending & kept complaining about how late it was & if we had checked in earlier there wouldn't be a problem. When we asked about the office hours (to get things straight in the AM) her response was its on the office door! Why would we go to the door when it is clearly not open at the time? But ok we made that work, even though it was a conflict with our schedule... the only thing that did was give us the car tag... it is not a gate opener, it a paper hang tag for the mirror. So even after you're checked in, if you leave & the office is closed you can't get back in!! I've never experienced such an unorganized & unprofessional camp site. And i ALWAYS pick the cheapest ones. We travel nearly every weekend for work, so we're simply parking & sleeping. So i can't comment on the rest of the amenities here. But getting locked out a nights is just unacceptable

Extremely quiet, perfect camp site and friendly staff

Love it here! We came for our anniversary weekend to just get away. The young woman that checked us in was sweet and thorough. I also met another woman in the store when I needed an item I left at home. She was so kind and helpful. We even had a good laugh when my husband had asked her if she saw a girl with a floral vest on. The only con I had was no hook in the handicap shower stall in the bathroom by the rock trail. The shower stalls could use a small bench to sit toiletries on.

Fantastic first experience at the cabin site with my wife and 4 year old daughter! This is a great site for families who want to see if they are more glampers, campers, hikers or all three. I was honestly surprised at the wide variety trails and felt very comfortable guiding our daughter through the mile long Blue Trail that has some pretty challenging spots for her age. She hasn't stopped talking about going back to Blue Rocks since we left. A+ experience and so much we want to go back and do next time!

Stayed Friday to Monday in Cabin 2 with my husband and I. We did not want to leave :( We are already planning our return stay. It does get very crowded on an October weekend but our cabin was so far removed that it was not bothersome at all when hanging outside. Everyone was friendly and the grounds are super clean. The bathrooms and showers near the entrance are far more updated then the ones near the boulder fields. I am sure that will be updated soon but even without it was acceptable to me bearing in mind you are camping and lucky to have a shower and potty indoors. I grew up camping here and it still feels the same but the updates are much appreciated without changing the feel of the grounds. See you again soon!
