Boots Campground — Reviews

It was pretty quiet, one thing we noticed was that the roads were a little tight. When leaving there were cars blocking so had to back up and turn around before could exit site.

Nice location, beautiful view. No amenities at all, not even an office. Some spots are very tight that rv almost touching each other with slide outs

The view was spectacular!!! We had campsite #9. The campsite was clean, quiet and well maintained

The sites are very small, I could look right in my neighbors windows. I’ve also never stayed at a campground that doesn’t provide picnic tables, campers don’t carry tables with us.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful setting. Didn’t like the wind, but that’s just nature.

The site was in a beautiful setting for mornings and sunsets! It was clean and tidy and quiet.

Very quiet and out of town. Our spot was level and easy in and out. We had site 12. We have our own bathroom and shower so we don’t need them provided. Also close to the national park!

Basic good camping

Great small campground. Everything worked well had a little trouble finding the site at first. Great location to medora.

Easy to make reservations. Easy to amend reservations. Close to town and to hiking trails. Would stay there again.

We stayed 4 nights in April 2026, great location for Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Little Missouri National Grassland Water was turned on at campsites, a rarity for a campground so far north this early in the season Strong WiFi signal

Small Campground - cozy. Not recommended for a long stay unless you bring your own table and tables to sit outside.

Simple set up, clean and beautiful. Only one mile to the center of the town of Medora.

Nice quiet campground. Spaces were a little small

We’ve been camping across America for the past two months and this is the only campground I would not stay in again. They have way too many campsites squeezed into a small campground. Our site was basically in the road. There was nowhere to sit or put the dogs because that part of our site where we would sit outside was in the campground road. Ridiculous. We were anlso right next to the dumpster. Yuck. Our site was not the only ridiculous site. At least half of them were in spaces that were too small and also 3 feet from a cabin window. There were no amenities for the price as well as no one onsite. Would not recommend staying here. We saw the state campsites and will stay there next time.
