Bowman Parks and Recreation Butte View Campground — Reviews

Rated3.0out of 5
Very pleased with the campground host. Very helpful in all respects. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and very nice. One major negative - Every communication to me from Bowman kept advertising free wi-fi and included the password. I depend on wi-fi in a campground as I work remotely. During the entire stay, the wi-fi did not work. IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, DON'T ADVERTISE IT! One minor negative - Pretty much all day and night, semi-trucks using Jake Brakes to slow down right in front of the campground as they come into town and reduced speed limit.

Great staff. Great location. Shower and restrooms were clean. The train rolling through, blasting its horn in the middle of the night was unwanted, but meh........

The camp host reached out to discuss details of the stay early on the day of check in. The facilities are nice, neat, and well kept. If you ignore the highway, this is a peaceful place in the country for camping with amenities. 5 Stars!

Beautiful grounds, very clean bathrooms, and an easy-to-level site for our 32-foot fifth wheel. Our camp host, Melinda, and her family were wonderful during our two-month stay, making sure we had everything we needed, helping us prepare for major storms, and sharing great local tips for Bowman and the surrounding areas.

Melinda and Matt were helpful and caring. They checked on me when weather was bad. They helped when I had issues with the camper. The campground facilities were well kept as was the property. It was a wonderful month being able to be close to my parents in my hometown.

Site was very nice, spacious. The park hosts provided wood. Nice trees and atmosphere. Our only ding was that the showers were basic, no frills, and did not vent humidity to the outside. We would stay here again.
