Bridgetown Family Camping — Reviews

We had a lovely weekend at this location. Very quiet, large sites and we were backed in on the riverside. Seasonals are friendly and we enjoyed our first night around their campfire. Ice cream and propane at this location as well. Lots of room for bigger rigs to move around. Clean, nicely mowed lawn and walkway next door. We will be back again!

Its a beautiful spot. Peaceful with lots of rich historical forts to explore and learn about. The campground was clean with nice even ground and grass at the site and not gravel, a huge bonus. Loved our stay. Next time we will bring a canoe for the gorgeous river and get some fishing in. A very relaxing and enjoyable time here.

Campground had a very easy check in process. Staff were very friendly. Camp ground was clean. Sites are very compact and no privacy from the other campsites. Booked for two nights - First was great no issues, other than there was no internet and normally that wouldn’t have been an issue except it rained forcing us inside. The 2nd night we ended up leaving early (late afternoon), due to a neighbouring site’s new renter having 3 very yappy dogs, that they had penned up next to their trailer. The other site’s dogs barking ruined the peacefulness of our stay. When I went to the office to advise of the issue there was a sign up with after hours instructions (3pm ish), so I packed up and left.
