Buckeye Equestrian & Event Center — Reviews

We stayed at the equestrian center for a quick weekend, mostly to have a safe place to put our RV when out of town for a trip. (We mostly boondock.) Booking online was easy and we checked ourselves in, since our arrival date was Christmas. It's super important to note that despite some ambiguity on the website, none of the shorter-term areas have sewer hookups, and there is NO official dump station for these visitors, either. We ended up dumping in a vacant spot in the long-term section but it's pretty disappointing that there's no official dump station for short-term stays.

It was a quiet peaceful park. I miss trees to protect us from the Arizona heat.

Quiet little hide away! Being near horses made it all the better! Team was easy to work with to extend my stay. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a good stay at buckeye equestrian. The site was nice and level. In the morning it was fun watching the horse people readying for their competitions

The Tack Room is great! The area was clean and well kept. I realize this is a working farm and rodeo event location, but if you’re going to advertise as RV camping then there really should be a dump station. Or, at least make it very clear that there isn’t one. That way you can plan accordingly. I would return to this location if again in the area. At least stop by the Tack Room!

This was the most interesting RV place we have ever stayed at! We got an up close and personal look at the behind-the-scenes daily life of the rodeo and equestrian events. We watched roping practice and competitions and enjoyed the parade of the draft horse competition. The surroundings are beautiful, the place is clean and well kept and the staff is amazing! If you like Mexican food, there are several great places to eat all within a mile or two. We will definitely book here again.

The type of site I reserved was changed because they now require a 10 night minimum for full hookups. I was refunded the difference, however I was now having to look for a different place that did offer full hookups. We stayed one night. Its just a dirt lot with an electricity and water connection. Would not recommend and good luck with speaking with someone in the office.

It was quiet at night and I got help from an associate to my campsite. They started planing music at 8:30am and have lots of activity begin around then which was t a problem, but rather so others know what to expect.
