Buffalo County Recreation Area - Ravenna Lake — Reviews

Rated4.0out of 5Great!
The campsite and grounds themselves were amazing and beautiful, but the porta potty by our site (101) probably needs serviced more frequently with being in the heart of the disc golf course. It was getting serviced the day we left, but it was not in great condition. Other than that we loved our time there! The lake is beautiful. An amazing playground for the kids, and nice shady spots for making camp. Fee will wood available, too which is nice. I would also ask for a water pump to be made available for the primitive sites. We had to drive to the other side of the grounds to fill up our water jug.

Nice area and clean. Also quiet except for the trains going by but that is understandable.

You people work so hard on that camp ground to keep it nice. Relaxing and a great place for the grand kids and friends.

Great park, clean bathroom and shower facilities, entire park is well maintained and quiet for the most part. he fishing was ok but the lake could use some help with the aquatic vegetation. Just a very nice overall family friendly park.

We have stayed at the recreation area several times. It is close to relatives we visit, fairly quiet and the price is reasonable. That is why we keep coming back.

A beautiful campground with awesome playgrounds! Spacious spots and all surrounding a lake. Showers available at the hostel during the winter months or on site when in season. Firewood available, close to town, and not far from some bigger cities. Be sure to check out the Platte river and all the herons!
