Great place! Had so much fun. Peaceful, quiet, perfect little place to get away. We will be back.

I was astounded at the initial entry fee of $16/PERSON per DAY, nearly as much as the overnight camping fee. Most parks charge per VEHICLE. Then, found the campground no better than last time we stayed 6 years ago. Bathhouse for the campground was in sad shape - 1 shower stall with broken wall hooks laying in the floor of the shower - hand dryer broken - tap that would not shut off. The site we reserved had a light pole in front & if we parked further back in the site we couldn't open the slide! Sites are arranged end to end, but both sewers were at back end of one site, two 10' sewer hoses would not reach & had to go buy additional 15' hose. THEN the sewer for both sites (31 & 32) was stopped up - dumping for 30 sec to a minute caused sewage to back up into our hose. Notified office midweek but clog was not cleared by time we left. To their credit, office gave us credit, but it was still messy, unsanitary, & nasty. Slight winds caused dead branches to fall, a large one landed right in front of our rig. So...where are the exorbitant entrance fees going?! Not into campground improvement, that's for sure.

It was relaxing, clean and very peaceful. I will come there often.

lake was so nice we wanted to stay longer but couldn't will definitely return somce we are only 2 hours from this lake

We worried about dead tree limbs breaking off the tree and falling on our us, the rv or truck. The campsite close to us had that happen. A big branch broke off and fell to the ground. Thank goodness they were all inside the rv and their truck was gone. If the truck had been there, it would have landed on it. If someone had been sitting or standing there, it could have hurt or even killed them. Buffalo Lake needs to trim all the dead limbs off their trees! It's a liability waiting to happen!

It would have helped when making reservation to know that only a few tent sites have a table and or shade. The camp host was terrific and we felt accommodated when needing to switch spots at the last minute. Thanks

View was nice and restaurant down the road was amazing. Nice little playground Cons: Rv spot was un-even and sewer was raised up 8" or so. On top of reservations the gate fee was an additional $60. Overall, good experience.

Friendly and helpful reception at the gate. Great site...with plenty of room. So quiet.

Bathrooms were clean, our area was clean. Most important with camping; we were able to light up a fire. Only thing there was a couple that came from far that we were trying to help. They paid 32.00 to enter and they were told that they could book the spot online. Well when I tried to help them we could not book the same day. There was plenty of spots but did not let us book. So the couple lost the 32.00 for 15 min they were in the lake and they could not book so they left all sad. I think before the people get charge to enter at the entry they should check to see if any spots available before this old couple lost their money. Check and then tell couple to book online. They were older and didn't speak English so they ask for help after they paid.

Everything was great. Very peaceful!

We stayed at full service campsite,, But the dump station is not draining well, so it overflowed when I emptied my black and gray tank.

Perfect spot for us with our grandkids! So fun to be able to walk out the door straight to the water. Bathrooms were super clean!

Campground A host was super friendly and very helpful, much more so than the one from last year. Love that quiet time is enforced, but you can play your music quietly after 10 pm. Great stay!!!

Trash everywhere, bathrooms beyond dirty and the sewer at our site backed up, all over our outside rug and around our entry door when we hooked up. What a mess, just awful.
