Me and my family have been goin to this lake for a decade! Now prices r up due to inflation. Yearly passes u don’t even get FULL year it expires in Dec so not worth it if u get it late! No events!!! I was sooo disappointed in this! Used to have petting zoos, Easter bunny pics, egg hunt, food trucks etc. now nothing at all! Need more playgrounds, update the bathrooms, put more money in burning grass on the lake so u can get an actual lake view on shore line. Marina is updated and better now! Need fast access to entry if u leave to go shopping in town u will wait for hours to get back in!!! I did see people picking up trash which was nice because some people don’t pick up after themselves. We used to go before anyone knew about this lake and it was nice. Now it’s packed all time! Paying more for less doesn’t make sense to me.

The lake and campgrounds are nice. Fairly well kept. The Camp Hosts, Fred and Brenda, were sweet, they came and introduced themselves and offered any help and advised about lake rules.

We always enjoy going to Buffalo Springs Lake. The campground seems like it is kept up more than before and the rules are now more enforced. We will keep going every chance we get!!

I miss how there used to be a camp host to control the crowd in the camp ground. Now music and activities run till 3-4 am. And, tent sites have been cut back. So if your in an RV and you have family needing to tent they have to set up all the way down the road instead of in the areas they used to allow it. Covid is over. Time to get back to what they used to do. And prior to Covid - they used to do upgrades yearly around the lake. None since it seems.

We arrived at around 5pm and the person at the gate was not very welcoming or informative. The maps provided to us were not very indicative of the actual slots. The roads inside in lots were very narrow and the numbers for the slots were only on one side of the spots that could not be seen from either direction. The shower in the men’s restroom in our area had no shower curtain. The lake was nice but we will not be returning.
