Un-excepanle, people blocking access to my camp site. Contacted host and nothing was done. This was over the complete stay, the other party had boats and about 5 vehicles in my area, made it difficult to get truck in and out.

The only issue was the dead fish and the smell. I would love to know why all the fish are dying. It scared me to see people in the water.

It’s a really nice place Very clean camping grounds but the bathrooms I think you need to put more attention to the cleaning(never had a problem with that plant to the west but this weekend had pretty loud noises coming from that plant)

No oversight of other campers. Quiet time was ignored for an hour. People and their kids swam in the middle of the night in the lake. Pontoon in water front tent spot 24. People fishing in the middle of the night. People dumped their fish in front of my camp site. Unsure where the white noise came from in the middle of the night but around 2AM I thought there was a blow dryer in my tent. It was That loud and went on/off for hours. There is no camp etiquette here. This park would do better letting people camp throughout and not all together congested in one place. Great place if you want to party I suppose. Terrible place to get away and camp because of the congestion. Negatives aside, the village is beautiful, the Texas twister is a huge plus, and it’s absolutely beautiful in the evening. Water looks fun! I enjoyed my bike ride around the park and the drop down into the park on bike. It was fantastic!

we paid $140 online for the camper spot, with all the info of how many people, boat, cars, and pet, when we got there, we had to pay an additional $160 for 3 days of having the boat ($30 a day, and $24 a day for myself and my husband). As mentioned, we told them online what we had, 30ft camper, boat, and 2 vehicles. They came to us the first night and told us that we may have to move because there wasn't enough room for the 2nd vehicle and the boat. The camper spaces are stacked one on top of the other. They did find a slot down the way for us to place the boat so we could charge it, which worked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We got a great shady camp spot. There was a lot to do around the lake. We really enjoyed our time there.
