Wasn’t to bad of a set up, don’t think it’s worth staying on this specific side unless you’re going to be on and off a boat or have a boat yourself. Our ice chest also got stolen (full of drinks, sitting right outside our camper under a table hidden pretty well) and the manager never gave us a call about it. Was supposed to hear from them before we left, if they did/didn’t see anyone on the cameras (we were in the second spot and cameras were in that direction, ice chest was big so it wouldn’t be hard to miss 2 people carrying it) but never heard anything🤷🏻‍♀️

The park itself is a 5. The reason I rated it a 4 was because there was someone in the park that would play their music really loud from about 3:00 am to 5:00 am. They would also rev the engine on their vehicle. Very inconsiderate of them. Wish there was someone we could report to about this to have it stopped.

The personnel running the camp site were very helpful and friendly. We found a fire ant spot close to our spot and reported it. Within 15 minutes, it was taken care of. 5 stars!

There was no fire pit. If I am camping I want a fire. There was a burn ban when I was there but it was obvious there is never a fire pit.

The quietness and beauty of relaxing on the banks of the Red River (Texoma Lake). I imagine summer gets real busy with the marina, but we loved our mid-March stay. Gorgeous sunsets right on the lake!
