We left a day early as we were unable to get potable water around Calling lake and we did not want to drive to Athabasca and back

The campground is being well cared for. Good to see water added back to fish cleaning station. Nice to see very good forest managment taking place protecting the area from fires. Bathrooms have been repaired. Five stars for the freat work

The staff are always terrific. The bathrooms are always clean. And everyone is respectful. Fishing was not great but it was a great time

Site 44 has a water issue, the fire pit and surrounding area was full of standing water, staff brought gravel to fill in the wet area but with all the water we couldn't use the fire pit at all.

Catapillars we left the same day. It would have been nice for notice about the Catapillars.

We did not stay this time. We pulled into our site, and it was over-run with tent caterpillars. It was after 5:00 pm, so we could not contact the office to see if another site would be available. We went home.

Outdoor toilets could have been more regularly serviced and stocked. Need shower facilities as well. But overall, the campground was quiet and I enjoyed my stay.

I like the lake!!! The wood was nice burning. The washrooms were clean. My campsite was also very clean. There’s only one thing I’d have to comment on..the fire pits were not in great shape. But I will definitely be back! Maybe next year though could you do something about the rain..hahahaha!

We spoke to a few of the staff and they were very friendly and kind. Great job! Why has the cancellation policy changed from 3 days to 14 days. This is a provincial campground and the cancellation policy is typically 3 days. This seems unfair. Why are a number of fire pits still damaged and not level. Many of them have been this way for years. Why can’t staff replace, repair and level them out even if it is done over a few years. We like to use the pits for cooking and unlevel pits make it difficult to cook certain foods. Is there any plans to add a dock by the fish cleaning area. What happened to the old fish cleaning tables that had water. The current table have no water and the water at the building dribbles at best. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
