Camp '89 Grand Haven, Michigan — Reviews

Loved our large lot. Very clean and peaceful park. Can’t wait to return next season.

Our premium campsite was wonderful: fresh cement, clean, wooded for some shade. Our kids loved all of the available activities and were often at the playground meeting new friends. This was our second stay this year and we will be back next year, if not later this fall!

Incredible! We loved the cleanliness, family-forward atmosphere, and all the activities this place had to offer. We will definitely be back! 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Camp 89! The kids loved the pool and community play area. All staff members and owners were super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and other shared areas were clean. You can tell they are improving/updating things. I wish the new owners good luck and hope things keep going good for them. Our group has started looking at dates for next year. Camp 89 might become a yearly tradition for us! Thank you for a great weekend!

Very nice campsites and lots of activities for everyone.

Check in was quick, staff was pleasant. Site was smaller than anticipated and sites were very close together. Facilities were clean, (outside of they cleaned them from 830am-1030am at our local building) definitely a great family campground overall.

Great staff, activities, and clean pool!

All of my interactions with the staff were very pleasant. Our campsite number 64 was pretty level and shaded all day long. we enjoyed a round of miniature golf. We did not use the swimming pool or the go karts, but everything looked very nice and well maintained. There is a walking/biking trail in the woods that I took advantage of for long walks with my dog. It is in close proximity to a nice paved bike trail that runs between Holland and Grand Haven. Also, it is very close to downtown Grand Haven, where there is a fantastic beach and many dinning options.

We were placed on a newly graveled pad and utilities were a bit far for our camper as they are placed between 2 sites for sharing. I had the understanding upon selection that I was reserving a concrete pad. A bit confusing.

The only thing that I would change would be to ask for a full concrete site rather than 114 which was dirt. It rained and that was a mess !

We had a great time! clean park and pool for kids and adults. Our site didn’t have grass so a little messier then I wanted but we got through it. We ate ice cream, played putt putt and went on the go carts for the first time. This is now our favorite campground.

Awesome place, great people, clean campsites. Restrooms clean, showers are warm. Will definitely be the going back
