Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country — Reviews

Restrooms where never cleaned the whole 4 days we where their. The staff was less than friendly and no one could answer questions. People and staff where flying down the roads You can’t bring our own golf carts but they don’t have enough for every camp spot. Trash was overflowing out of the trash cans. The staff was rude.

Not enough upkeep and customer service for the rates they charge. Very corporate, staff unhelpful. Not enough tubes for slides, not enough balls for mini golf. Bathrooms not keep clean. Advertising new pool that just became under construction. Park is unworkable and you you cannot bring personal golf carts which leads to vehicles driving around constantly which is unsafe and not enough parking.

Amenities fir the kids

Amenities were so busy/full that we didn’t decided not to use them. The lines to the roller coaster and the pool area. The new pool area will hopefully help with the pool area issue. But we still had a good time.

The park is beautiful and the amenities are awesome. But, there was construction right behind us, our bed was broken and horribly uncomfortable, and the toilet seat was loose and several other minor issues.

The camp grounds were nice. My cabin felt clean. But every shower I had was freezing cold. The sinks had warm water but for whatever reason, the shower did not on any of the 3 days I was there. . As much as I enjoyed the site, I would never return to a place where I pay that much to have me and my kids (2 babies) take cold showers. We went when it was cold so we were not really able to enjoy the pool area so to not be able to come back to a warm shower was disheartening.

The amenties were fantastic and the pool was heated during the Texas cold front where the kids were able to enjoy the day.

The campsite was beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do here...eventhough we went in off season when half of the things were closed.

Great area and fun amenities. We visited during holiday and during the week so some things were not open during part of our stay, but we still had fun playing putt-putt and walking the resort - peaceful. 🤗 We had a tough time getting our camper level on the site which was frustrating but really liked our location. Friendly staff and neighbors 😎

Amazing camping site, like no other! Super clean, friendly and so much to do. I will be returning when the pool is opened.

Camp spots were moved for no reason. 168 open spots and our 2 rvs were separated to FORCE us to pay $35 to get moved back together. The 2 spots we chose in the first place remained empty all weekend. Nothing but a money grab.

We normally have a great time at Camp Fimfo, but sadly, this last visit was a bit disappointing. The Halloween hay ride was cancelled without notice. We found ourselves lost trying to find out what happened to the hay ride. Once we did find out, it was cancelled due to weather. It was cold, but no longer raining. Then, we discovered a ceiling trim hanging loose that could have cause severe head trauma had it fallen on someone. And as usual, we had to sleep on foam toppers instead of actual mattresses. For what is paid for these cabins, you would figure the bed situation would be comfortable. No one offered any relief or discounts. I would have been ok if they would have moved us to another cabin. Very sad visit :(

Me and my family really enjoyed Camp Fimfo! The staff was so helpful, and the schedule of daily activities were so cool! We will be coming back for sure!

The kids loved it. The only complaint we had was there really needs to be a sidewalk for pedestrians and kids on bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc.. They're all forced to use the main road in and out to get to the amenities and it seems quite dangerous. Other than that, all the attractions were awesome. The rollercoaster went down while we were there but it looked like it would be fun too.
