Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Breaux Bridge — Reviews

Resort staff were not monitoring golf cart use by juveniles. Many golf carts were being driven by a young child well under 18 without adult supervision. Wreckless and speed were prevalent throughout the park by young children. I never saw a resort staff employee doing anything about this. Another problem I had was very weak wifi. The park had two options for wifi but both were very weak. Also there was no cable TV available as stated on the Campspot info. Signals were often weak to the point of obtaining no local channels. This has always been a problem at this campground.

Facility is well maintained and clean. Staff is friendly and ready to answer any questions. Enjoyed the upgrades to the pool areas.

Need more umbrellas for the pools

Everything was good except for very low water pressure. It was hard to rinse my hair.

What an amazing stay! The Adult pool was great, since we did not have any grandchildren with us. We wish we would have brought our E-Bikes to get around. We were told prior to that E-Bikes and Scooters were not allowed. Well there were countless of both! We were in town for a Baseball Tournament in Lafayette!

Very disappointed that there was no one policing the VERY UGLY GUESTS that put towels on chairs and tables the was very ugly to me and my children when I tucked my bag on tge side of a chair that was clearly not being used. I didn’t want to sit in the unoccupied chair just needed to tuck my bag with phone and wallet in. That family had two tables with chairs and umbrellas put together with no one sitting at them and no one else could get out of the sun along with a row of lounge chairs that no one was sitting in. I didn’t want trouble so I didn’t fuss back but I thought we were at a classy place. And there was NO SUPPORT STAFF TO TURN TO.

Because it was my first time going there and it was a vibe I definitely will be going back

Pros: The staff were nice. The band Saturday night was awesome. Large workout room. Cons: Too many people for the size of the pools. In addition to the campground being so crowded they allow day passes. Pool lights not working at night. Only two or three umbrellas for entire complex.

Amenities were great the place was nice

Everything was nice, but the new pool and area could have been cleaner. Overall a great experience though. We will be back.

The pool was very dirty with debris floating in it and mildew around the edges. The staff was awesome and the grounds were kept up nice. There were several low hanging limbs around several camp spots that rubbed against campers as they passed by or went into their sites.

The overall park looked amazing the sites were all paved, then it rained, and the sites held an extremely large amount of water and would not drain properly. The speed limit was 5 miles an hour, but almost every golf cart and vehicle would travel over the speed limit with no enforcement. The design of the park seems to be great however, trying to navigate the roadway was difficult. You had no markings to determine what was a road or a campsite. The campsites were too close together. People would walk through your site to get to the pool.

We had a nice time. Our tiny house was cute and in good condition. Our complaint is that the adult pool was not very clean. We felt like the buildings etc really needed pressure washing and some upkeep. Grass growing out of the gutters at the swim up pool on adult side. All of the staff were really nice. We honestly feel like since margaritaville took over, it’s just not as well kept. For the price you charge per night in cabins etc, the grounds and buildings should be cleaner.
