Camp Swatara — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
This was our first time at the campground, we had a great time and it was a quiet weekend. We hiked on a few trails, walked around the campground and my wife love seeing the big fish in the pond.

So much to do you don't have to leave the campgrounds and all the extras are very reasonable

This is one of the nicest parks that we have stayed in. A real gem. Larger, level lots. Beautiful views. Very clean facilities. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Would definitely stay here again.

We were here for a quick overnight stay on our way out east. We didn’t use any of the facilities which all looked nice. My only complaint is that the utility connects could use a little attention. The post was very fragile and I feared knocking it over. The hose connection was very difficult due the spigots proximity to the ground, putting on an inline filter was a pain. All things considered tho, it was quiet, easy access from the interstate and we will stay again if our travels take us out this way again.

Hospitality is excellent and the facilities have been recently upgraded. The river is very nice and lots are level. Our only problem was a few rowdy campers not following the quiet hours rules. First night they got away with it but the second night the staff were able to mitigate the problem.
