Camp Valhalla — Reviews

We had a nice stay at Camp Valhalla! The staff are great, the campsite is very clean & tidy and the beautiful flowers in the washrooms were a lovely touch!

Everything was Amazing. We had not been since it has had new owners. We were extremely happy to see only improvements as we Loved it before. PS the only thing missing was the gentleman riding the ride on mower with a huge cigar hanging out if this mouth and an equally huge smile. Thank You for being a family and dog friendly Camping spot.

It was amazing everyone is so friendly, and the campground is clean and very well maintained. And you can't forget the movie like scenery

This was a pleasantly surprising little treasure found on Summit Lake. The check-in team was incredibly accommodating when we wanted to switch locations. We enjoyed the free boats and took a little paddle around the lake as well as would do no justice by not mentioning the showers are super amazing!! .

Great campground! Everything is so well taken care of - the showers, the washrooms were so clean. The free use of boats was so great - took advantage each day. Will definitely be back :)

Places are always clean including washrooms, showers and outdoor! Free to use paddle Boats, Kayak and Tinny! We are very happy for our stay and hope we could be back soon before it close down for winter.

Nice flat site with easy lake access, but with no sewer connection we frequently used the very accessible and well kept up "dish pit". Disappointed in "boil water advisory"! Bathrooms kept clean, except for offensive odour at men's urinals, and one shower out of service. Price was right for shower use, "free"!!

The hosts were excellent. The bathrooms were good. Shower stall floors could use a care. Loved the free peddle boats.

We had a great time, Summi lake is beautiful. The chance to use the camps kayaks, makes the experience even better. The dog park is amazing, as well as the dog beach. The children’s play area could use a little more love&care.

Here's a polished version of your review: This place is amazing, especially for families! There are so many activities for kids, including a large playground, a big field to play soccer, badminton nets, and pump tracks for bicycles. The facilities are excellent. The washrooms and showers are very clean, and there is even a free washer and dryer available for guests to use. The views are absolutely beautiful. There's a clean dog beach, a dock with a ramp for jumping into the water, and even a free boat that visitors can use. I will never forget this place. It was an incredible experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

Camp Valhalla was conveniently located from Nakusp. It provided a clean environment, bathrooms were clean, staff and volunteers were very polite and great with area knowledge and information.

Washer room & shower are very clean, there’s are stool for kids which is very good for kids to use the sink and toilet! Free Kayaks, Paddle boats, boats to use, next time I won’t bring my paddle boards lol

This campground exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at others in the area, but on a busy long weekend we decided to not chance a first come first serve site, and get one we could book. Everything at Valhalla was great. Friendly staff, awesome amenities, clean bathrooms, beautiful lake. We will come back for sure.
