It was going really good until Monday came and Monday through Wednesday when we left the mowing and weed eating was a lot, I know it has to happen but I was sitting under a canopy with my family while I guy was weed eating our spot it was super offputting, I understand like I said it has to be done but the timing of it wasn’t ideal

Our stay was great for the last two days of our trip! However, the first night we arrived around 5 pm and it was pouring down rain all night and we had to stay in our cars for almost 6 hours to wait for the rain to calm down. Even after checking in. Unfortunately, I was not given the guarantee for the weather that I paid for. Additionally, once we realized weather was not going to permit us to pitch up our tent, we went back to the front building to try and get a cabin around 7 pm. However, the gentleman had already left and we were unable to get one. The place was quiet, clean, peaceful, and beautiful. Just a little chaotic in the beginning.

The cleaniness of the campground was amazing! Great playground. It was nice to have the volleyball, pickleball and basketball as options. The maintenance on the campground was great. The bathrooms were spotless at all times. Highly recommend. We booked another trip the same day we left.

Staying at Campbell Cove was preferable to us than staying closer to the parks because it was so convenient to get to and the spot we had was very level. Driving 15 minutes do go hiking was easy without a camper towing behind when going up steep hills and sharp turns. The park was very nice and we have no complaints
