The park itself was beautiful and well-maintained, with great views and clean facilities. Everything would have been perfect if it wasn’t for our neighboring campers who were extremely loud until 4 AM. It really affected our ability to rest and enjoy the peaceful nature setting. A bit more enforcement of quiet hours would go a long way.

Unfortunately on long weekends, we have a large number of groups and it is more difficult to keep the noise in check. If you do visit us again, please let the Park staff know immediately of any issues and we will address it as soon as possible.

Beautiful area! I couldn't view the site online when booking and we were in direct sun. It was scorching due too that. Also, we were in an open field, high winds due to that. There were other really beautiful sites but very few with full hookups that weren't taken by seasonal campers. Also, the beach is rocky no sandy area and no area for dogs at the waterfront.

The spot was extremely good! The campsite was clean very quiet with the greatest views possible. The only disappointment was the staff did not clearly notify at check in that there is no water on the camp spots. Fresh water tanks could be filled after check in before getting to site. I will definitely return to this location 😁

Toilets in the rough camping area were kind of gross & just needed to be pumped out more frequently. Otherwise an excellent stay as usual!

We are happy that you stayed in our campground and apologize for the state of the portable toilets. The toilets are inspected and resupplied daily and are to be fully serviced. Sometimes our equipment fails and requires repair. However, that is not the case this time. We failed and there is no excuse for this. We promise to do better in the future. If this is ever an issue or if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office so that we can rectify the situation.

Sites were nice. Staff were friendly. Beach and grounds were well taken care of. The trials were maintained and fun to take! However, due to my fear of spiders, I did not enjoy using the washroom, as there were a ton of giant spiders. That was the only aspect of my stay I did not enjoy, otherwise I had a blast, and our stay was fantastic.

Thank you for your comments. We are working on getting a photo inventory. Campspot only allows us to post 10 pics of each type of site. With over 150 basic sites, it would not show a true picture of what each site looks like. The same is true for our other site categories including 20-amp, 30-amp, etc

Although the water was clear and nice area the site map is very deceptive. Looks like our premium site was on water but the water was at a drop of 50’ straight down cliff. The beach was two km away and not sandy at all total rock shoreline. The dump station was totally disgusting. It was basically just an open hole in the ground and the super short water flushing hose was filthy dirty. Washrooms were moderately clean but super glad I didn’t have to use the paid showers. And the simple rock fire pit was full to the top with ashes which when we requested it be cleaned out had only a small clean out just in the middle so could barely have a fire in it. Not a campground I’d go back too or recommend ☹️☹️☹️
