Wonderful place! We went with another family and between us had 9 kids, 2 adults, and 2 dogs camping on the beachfront lots. We loved the clear, shallow water for the littler kids to safely play in without us having to be on high alert. We hadn’t realized that the beach had a public access as well; we thought it was private. It was rough trying to sleep in tents on the beach when locals were catching seafood in the water right in front of us, talking loudly and shining bright flashlights that kept us awake, and a party crowd was blasting music at 11pm. This was not the venue’s fault, just a caution for other campers! Another word of caution, this may not be the place to bring dogs for overnight camping. Wild cows surrounded our tent during the night and you could hear them lowing and bedding down on the beach, which was a lot of fun for us but induced a lot of anxiety on our dogs. The cows were gentle and kept a safe distance. I would go back just for the beach cows! But I will leave the dogs at home next time. Last thing, the mosquitos at the bathhouse in the evenings were unreal. Our kids got so many bites, they were miserable. Not the ranch’s fault, but other campers deserve to know. Come prepared with the strongest bug spray you can find, or come in the winter. The bathhouses were very clean and accommodating other than the evening mosquitos. The dog park was also excellent for our dogs to have a break from their leashes. If you plan to camp on the beach, be informed that it is a walk up from where you will park, so be sure to bring a beach wagon!

We couldn't ever get in contact with anyone. Other than that, the location was great. The water was even better!
