We had booked a cozy spot for our 30-foot RV, and according to their website, the site was suitable for vehicles up to 30 feet. However, when we arrived to check in, the staff informed us that our RV wouldn’t fit on that site because it wasn’t long enough. As a result, we were required to pay an additional $40—on top of what we had already paid—for a different site, which just so happened to be the most expensive one in the entire park. We paid the extra fee, trusting that the staff knew the actual sizes of their sites. We also began to doubt whether there was an error on their website and on the Campspot app regarding the size of the site we originally booked. Still, we had our doubts, so we double-checked both the website and Campspot, both of which clearly stated that the site should accommodate a 30-foot camper. We decided to go and see the sites for ourselves to determine if it was actually possible—and it was! We took a photo of our RV parked on the site that was supposedly “too small,” and the site has around 10-15 feet extra, it is clearly not too small in any way. We voiced our concerns and questioned why we had to pay an additional $40 when the original site had plenty of space. Eventually, we were allowed to move back to the site we had initially booked, and we were promised a refund of the $40 (which, by the way, has still not arrived). We feel scammed, because if we hadn’t double-checked, they would have taken an extra $40 from us for no reason at all. We will NOT be returning and strongly advise anyone booking here to be cautious—make sure they’re not trying to trick you into paying for a larger site than you actually need.

Overly expensive for a tiny spot! And we requested a spot next to our family which was open and they denied it and no one ever came to the empty spot!
