Very clean and friendly staff

Spots are long for pull through, location was good we were able to travel most of the up on different days. Everything was nice, still building by the looks of it.

What a great place to stay in Northern MI. Highly recommended!

Charley’s is clean, quiet, well-run, and well-maintained, which garners it a high rating. However, what truly put Charley’s “over the top” for me was the manner in which the owners accommodated our needs. For example, because Charley’s did not yet have a fully functional shower/bathhouse (which they do now), the owners made a shower in one of the cabins available to us to use. Talk about going “above and beyond,” they did, even though they could have easily rented out that particular cabin instead of blocking it off for our use. In my mind, their generosity sets them far and above any other campground/resort in which I have ever stayed, and I will always remember their decision to make sure our needs were met. I highly recommend Charley’s to anyone looking for a place to stay in the UP.
