Bathhouses needed bugs and spiders cleaned. Corners, walls and windows all had these items. What needs to be done is a pressure washer used once a month on each bathhouse. We did have to complain about loud music, but other wise everything was great. Friendly staff!

Such a great small campground near Jefferson City. Sites are nicely spaced out and have water and electricity. The grounds are very well kept up and bathrooms were clean. Wish I were able to stay longer and make sure to check out the camp store and get a yummy milkshake.

To many rules lies about fire wood just so they could sale there own to strick on check out was cook late breakfast and was told we had to be out in 45 minutes would be understandable if someone was waiting on that particular site but was not and very rude people running place

We have stayed at Cherokee Dam Campground 3 times now and love the layout of the campsites and the beauty there. Will definitely return, hopefully for longer.

The camp host was very rude and was disrespectful on everything we did. He lied about some of the camp spots and was had something to say on about everything we did. We were with our church group. We come every year but if he is there next year we will go somewhere else. I realize there are rules to follow but you can be so demanding that you run people off. And that’s what he did. He had something to say about everything we did. We were afraid to do anything we thought he might throw us out of the campground.

The staff were very friendly and the campground looked better this time than it was last year. The grass was mowed and the park was very clean. The guy that worked was seen many times a day making sure everything was good. Thanks

Loved my 2 week stay at Cherokee Dam. Very nice small campground near Cherokee Dam. Spacious sites and peaceful. Cute campground store with yummy milkshakes. Staff keeps the grounds looking good.
