Choice Camping Court was born in 1969 by the idea of Harold and Doris Wertz as a small 10 site campground on family farmland. They ran the campground for 40 years with smiles and humor every day. Harold was the biggest jokester and Dorie the sweetest lady you’ve ever met! Doris was involved in the Military Mothers and Harold was a retired USPS man. To this day, still owned and operated military, we appreciate all that military men and women do for our country. The campground continues to be run by family, Troy and Charles (Chip) Wertz own and operate the now 220 site campground. The campground offers full hook-up, water/electric, and tent sites. The *** river offers many great opportunities for fishing or floating in a raft on a hot day. This campground holds value to old fashion camping that involves sitting around the campfire with family. Some of our oldest campers have been here for 30 years! We are true to our campground family and love to meet new members each day. We are moving into the 21st century with online reservations and WIFI but nothing compares to our weekend activities of bingo and fire sessions. We love our campground family and hope you all enjoy as much as we have for the past 50 years!
