very comfortable and quiet

The spot was roomy and simple to hook up. Someone stopped by immediately after we set up to make sure everything was OK.

Spaces were small with big trees close in on spot where you're trying to back into. Neighbors were not friendly at all.

Do not stay here. We had reserved a tent site. We called to say we would be arriving after the office closed. We left a voice message. When we arrived the office was closed and there was a travel trailer in our tent spot. The owner of the trailer.said he had been in that spot for 6 months He said cliftwood does not take reservations for tents. We had to drive another hour to find another campground for the night. We called Cliftwood again to get out money back. We still have not heard back from them.

Very quiet.

Very friendly. Loved the shade and trees. My site (91) had no grass, and was just dirt. There was an area of landscape Timbers filled with 5-6 inches of pine needles which was worthless because it was so spongy. I was also concerned that the Timbers was a tripping hazard, and the pine needles a fire hazard. Only one older washer and dryer and one bathroom with a shower. I did not use those facilities. I expect they are also on the update list. I know there is new management and improvements being worked on. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, Peggy and Alex, and the ongoing upgrades would make me definitely consider staying there again. I loved the Ocala area!

This is a nice, no frills campground with reasonable rates. The residents are very friendly.

The resort was clean and quiet. Everyone was friendly and the staff bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable there. We would definitely go back there again.

Really friendly people and manager. Only one public shower in laundry room and only 1 washer and dryer.

For one reason, the spot I was given half of it was taken by another person, so I was pushed into the spot next to it, and I had to come in backwards and only use the water and electric. One of the electricians left the circuit electric on, and there was no way to know which one so I received an electric surge which ruined my microwave and burned out my surge protector, which now Hass to be replaced, and we had to replace two amps that burned the microwave. It was a terrible night plus the spots have tree stumps & tree roots sticking out of the grass. Also had to hand carry my gray water to sewer. Will never go there again.
