Cold River Campground — Reviews

Accommodations were good with activities for campers. Owners were wonderful. We look forward to returning. Dog friendly and pleasant seasonal folks. Well located near town but very quiet. It is everything you might need and want!

Clean bathrooms, pretty level spots (I boondock a lot), working utilities, friendly staff, working wifi to stream on.

Great campground! Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Ready to help at any time. Location is great and spots were spacious.

Missing a picnic table from our site. But other than that we would definitely stay again. Very clean bath house and campground.

This is a decent campground. The service was great! The place is clean and they really care about their guests. Small sites rather close together. Not level. Very nice picnic tables and fire rings. Just felt more like a trailer park than a campground.

Our reserved spot was not available, they said they would put us in the new section. We were sent to the back of the property with the worst roads, the breaker kept popping in out site. This “campground” is very old. Everyone was very nice but the accommodations were not what I expected and I would not recommend for a large RV.

Convenient location, easy access, friendly staff and quiet. Will stay again when in the area.

The staff were amazing. We only stayed one night and it rained pretty hard so we didn't do a lot of exploring. Everything is "as advertised". Hoping to go back again when the sun is shining. Can't stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff was.

After June 1st and the pool still wasn't open. Seasonal campers up until 1:30pm playing bags, loud. Told at 10:15am the next morning the kids should be quiet because people were still sleeping. Playground had 2 swings and a small jungle gym. Will go the extra miles to camp somewhere else.

Clean! FUN! Just wish the pool was open. Other than that GREAT place to stay!

Nice campground but crowded.

The owners were very nice, the campground was kept clean, it had a dog park and traiks. We added on a few extra days without a problem, most likely because it was mid October and getting chilly at night.
