No host at campground. No one answered the number listed for this place. Place looked abandoned. Utilities were working though. Branches are too low at exit. Good thing is it was quiet and within walking distance of the Dirty Skillet which I highly recommend.

It was so quiet and peaceful and the people who worked in the store were so nice. I really enjoyed my stay and the location was great.

The cabin was outfitted well and reasonably comfortable. It needs a bit of maintenance and the bbq outside was broken. I found it expensive for what we got however. I’d have given 3.5 if that was an option. But it was a nice respite and worked well for what we needed.

Great price for an RV site with hook-ups. Well maintained property, nice people, dog friendly!

This was a small RV park with approximately 15 sites. It was a quiet area with a nice market. The owners were friendly and accommodating. It was a full hookup and everything worked fine.

I think for the most part everyone, myself included, loves the general/liquor store that is apart of the RV park. It seems like this store is used by the entire town and other camps sites as well. The RV space that I rented was perfect size for my truck and trailer, however, I could see people with larger trailers having a difficult time parking and the spaces themselves don't foster parking for the towing vehicle. Perhaps this could be rectified if the trees were removed from the front of the property closest to the main road and a parking lot was put in for vehicles towing trailers. There was also from what I could see not enough fire pits for people to have camp fires, this lends itself to people building fires on the ground which goes against the signage saying not to build fires on the ground. The not so desirable part of the stay came down to (2) factors. First, there is not quiet restrictions in the park after a certain time, this lends itself to a lot of drunk yelling and carrying on till about 1am at night which is an issue for those that want to get up early for hiking, fishing, etc. To solve this would be to implement a 10pm quiet policy for renters and staffing the park till 10pm to enforce the noise. Lastly, whomever is responsible for facilities maint. is doing a poor job at making sure that the building providing bathroom services to renters is maintained. The trash can in the bathroom was the same full trash can for the 2 days that I was there. I know this because there were egg shells etc. left in the bathroom trash can rather than using the dumpster to throw away camp supplies. Secondly, the bathroom ran out of toilet paper halfway through the first day and then was not restocked even after I checked out. If this is not going to be a maintained space then it should not be offered at all.

Sites are small and poorly layer out (uneven with poor water drainage. Staff is inflexible. Utilities are inadequate (ie sewer system does not drain properly). If you can dry camp- use a different campground. Stay at cold water as last resort only.

The camp spot was fine. It was a basic spot with a fire ring, a picnic table and benches. It was pretty quiet even though it's right on the Hope Highway. I could hear Bear Creek running. The camp bathroom needed a bit more care such as TP and paper towels (I brought my own TP and left it in there). Also, the door had a coded lock, however it didn't lock because the the door jam was broken. There is a nice restaurant next door, the Dirty Skillet, that has delicious food. Great homemade desserts including ice cream. Hope is a cute little town and I would stay there again.
