Colona Scott Family Park — Reviews

Fun atmosphere, clean and organized. Friendly staff and campers too! Attended a wedding on the grounds and at the lodge. Very beautiful setting.

Comfortable and quiet.

The pool was closed two days out of our stay which is the only reason I picked this campground. It also says there are paddle boats at the campground which there are not.

They are really nice cabins here in Colona Family State Park. I love the beds & the kitchen & the nice couch!! We will definitely be back here next June!! Thank you all very much for the hospitality!!

I had one of the waterfront tent sites and the site itself was hardly big enough for vehicle and tent to be set up. The site was set on a steep slope towards the water. There was no enforcement of quiet hours and there was someone blasting music until 2am. If you're looking for a party place, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet get away, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Very relaxing and Frank who is one of the permanent summer campers was very nice and friendly.

The Actual campground is beautiful but our spot was in a marshy grassland which were puddled our entire stay. On one side of us was the dumpsters and the other side were the dump station. That shouldn’t even be a spot, the smell along with the flies were just not ok… mini golf was advertised and the basketball or tennis courts looked condemned.

The cabins were very clean! The staff were very friendly and top notch! Pool was very clean and we simply had a wonderful and peaceful stay!

Didn't use amenities available and Wi-Fi internet very weak. It was a spot for the night then we travelled on.

Nicely run campground. Staff is very accommodating. They were doing some maintenance work on facilities so it will be even better.

Check in was a breeze and they even led us to our site. The other campers showed such a fun-living community.
