Colonial Pines Campground at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center — Reviews

This was a third trip to Colonial Pines Campground, and it was everything we could have asked for, quiet & peaceful. The campsites are spacious with full hookups and wifi. It is only a 20-25 minute drive to Williamsburg.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is so lovely! Great staff, beautiful shady sites, clean and modern bathrooms/showers, wonderful pool, lots of activities. It was a wonderful place to stay.

5stars! Such a beautiful place. Lots of trees and shade on all sites. Quiet. Private. Nice bathrooms/showers. Nice staff. Beautiful pool. We asked for an extra day, because it was so nice and they were able to accommodate us.

Very clean campground. Peaceful and beautiful setting amongst a pine forest. Lots of trails to walk. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is due to laundry facilities. I paid $5 for one load (wash & dry). Very expensive as going rate at other campgrounds is $3.25 for wash/dry. The one stacked washer/dryer is in a closet without any light & difficult to see. Also, a staff member was using both machines instead of using the staff laundry across the hall.

This was a great campground. We were there for the Valentine's Presidents Day weekend, and the spots were level and freshly graveled, and everything was in great shape. There were not too many people there, so it was nice and quiet. Although it's about 20-25 minutes to Williamsburg, there were a bunch of places to eat that were less than 10 reviews.
