Coolwater Campground — Reviews

Nice shaded sites, well groomed hiking trails to the ponds and river, lots of activities for the 5-11 year olds. Folks were observant of the noise restrictions.

Friendly staff. My only complaint is that I couldn't regulate the shower temperature.

The people running the camp were friendly and very helpful. My campsite was very spacious and a short walk to the restroom. I ordered wood which came promptly, besides a large amount for the price! I'll be back next year!!

We had the greatest time at Coolwater On the Pine. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. We went for Fourth of July and yes it was quite loud past 11:00, but where we were was pretty quiet. There’s a nice trail to walk behind the grounds and their rustic sites are spacious! They provide the options to buy firewood and have plenty of ice on hand. Bathrooms are a bit rough- there are outhouses and a functioning bathroom with stalls and the showers were very clean. We will definitely be back to try a rustic spot with our hammocks.

Owners and the actual campground was great! My only complaint is how loud everyone is. Machines (4-wheelers, side by sides, dirt bikes) ran well into the night and we go to bed early as we have a small child. Campground would be great for those camping without kids.
