The hostess was cheerful, helpful, courteous and did such a great job explaining the amenities of the campground and surrounding activities around the area. Plus she was working alone without any help that day! A beautiful wooded campground, super clean, quiet and peaceful! I would highly recommend Shadow brook campground!

This is a solid little campground in a beautiful location. It is absolutely perfect for bumper pulls and smaller units, what it is not perfect for is big rigs. Unfortunately, we are the definition of big rig and I took the site description literally. We are 44’ long and it was easy enough to get into the site but backing out was a little work. We had to unhook, there isn’t a big rig pull through, so it’s not a good overnight stop for our size. We are 13’6” tall and dead trees scraping the top of our coach makes us cringe as we know the work to come. The site was not level enough or solid enough to dump air and deploy jacks. This is minor as it was an overnight, but still and issue for big rigs. If we had a bumper pull, or even a short 5th wheel, it might have worked better but we should not have been there and they shouldn’t have taken our booking. Great campground for seasonal campers and normal RV’s, not so much for a true big rig.
