We LOVE this place. Great location near BBQ Mecca (Lockhart), pool, first class hookups including local and closed circuit cable with racing coverage on race weekend we attended. Exceedingly friendly staff and on-site security. Spotless bathrooms. Oh, yes, and it's next to the only purpose built F1 track in the US. What is not to like?

We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect for visiting Austin. The campground is immaculate. Our pup enjoyed the dog run area and the bathroom/shower facilities were some of the best we have encountered. The office staff was very helpful. There were no race events happening but I can imagine it would be awesome when there is; since the sites are right on the track. All of the sites have concrete level pads. We would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfy, and the new managers are doing a fine job.
