We took a chance on camping in winter, over Christmas week. Weather cooperated, only 2 days of half day light rain. Site 2 was gravel and fairly level. Water valve in the ground, stop freezing, though we did have an electric heated water hose but didn't need it. The campground was well cared for, for rvers and seasonal residents. Bathhouse basic and clean, used it over the trip. Met Jim and Judy, the caretakers, very nice and helpful. The docks are well maintained. Primarily a fishing. campground with a well stocked bait and tackle store. And while we don't fish it was. perfect to relax and chill out.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful, great facilities (Bath house), and super internet connectivity. It made it very relaxing for my stay to kick back and enjoy watching the fish jumping at dusk, the wood duck coming to the nest and cranes flying by; all while swing in their porch swing near the waters edge. But the icing on the cake was my last night when the "Harvest Full Moon" came up over the water!! I have already mentioned it to my brothers that have RV's; might be a family destination in the future. Thank you, Cotton Patch for making a very memorable stay!
