Cross Hollow RV Resort — Reviews

No shade. No grass. No showers or laundry room. Never saw anyone from camp staff. Office was always closed. All sites on gravel. It would be fine for an overnight, not long term.

Some good things here. The site is very clean and very well maintained with picturesque landscaping. Wifi is good. It seems though that it caters to the larger rigs and those staying for long periods of time. We were there just to refresh for one night before moving on. There are no bathrooms or showers which is disappointing for folks like us because we were out of water and so I had to empty the tanks, fill water for a shower, then empty the tank again and top the water off before we left. The worst thing was the septic dump port was at least 6 inches off the ground. Our RV is only 26 feet length and the drain is much closer to the ground than that. It was a major challenge to empty the tanks! There is also a fair amount of curb to drive over to get to the site surface. This is why I think the site is more suited to large rigs.

We did not know that we could park our trailer wherever we wanted to so that was confusing. But otherwise it was a good experience.

We were on our way to the Grand Canyon traveling from Idaho. We stopped here for an over nighter. The park was very clean and the host friendly. We'd stop here again if we're going to vacation in the southern states again.

Camp was new and well maintained.

When i booked online.The site wasn't allowing me to book with pets, even though it says it was pet friendly. So I ended up calling the campground itself and the gentleman, Mike, I think his name was was fantastic. He was so sweet and he helped me. Get through it so don't get discouraged if you have pets. You can still stay with pets. It's like a third party error. The campground was scared for one night's day. It was clean. It was nicely landscaped. I love the layered look of The Rocks on higher tears. I'm a new rviewer, so the roads are wide enough for me to maneuver my r v, without having any personal anxiety attacks about turning. It was a quiet gamp ground which I enjoyed.Because I don't like a lot of love partying. The few people walking their pets were friendly of the nod of the head overall.I felt comfortable and safe here. It's good to park our RV for a 1 day overnighter. To explore zion, we would definitely return.

Email was not clear where we were to park Email had RV2 just randomly on the page. Bring your own bathroom as there is no public toilet

Second time we have stayed here. It's clean and quiet once the traffic on the road to the east does down for the night.

There are no showers (the website says there are), people live on the park and make a mess and a lot of noise in the night. We did not get a wifi-pasword. We booked and payed 2 nights and by arrival we canceled 1, Matt was very friendly on the phone and said canceling was no problem but he don't respond on our email about refund of the canceled night.

There was no shower or restroom facility

There was never any one on site and never returned my call - we parked our Rv in the spot reserved but never heard from anyone about any other amenities- showers - restrooms- . Etc - there were plenty of rigs in the park - ofc hours 10a-2p- but check in is 3pm? Lots of dots didn’t connect.

Nice campground that appeared to be fairly new. It is set on terraces in the side of a mountain, so if you're on the first of two rows on each terrace, you have an unobstructed view of the mountains on the other side of the road. They are working on two more terraces. Other than full hookups and Wi-Fi, there are no other amenities. We never saw anyone in the office to ask questions.

No on was in the office for help had to call to get WiFi information. The spots are real tight prepare to have an extra long poop hose.

I didn’t realize there weren’t any bathrooms. That’s on me. There is a nice fire pit and shaded picnic tables. Fine for the price as there aren’t any amenities.

It was very clean, quiet and easy coming and going. Perfect for a softball weekend.

The best part of this RV park was definitely the personnel and the residents. Everybody was super friendly and the park is still being built out. Will definitely be back. Thanks

We saw that the resort is still in progress. But the price is not in balance with the place. No restrooms/ showers. No laundry facilities. It is huge overpriced.
