Adirondack Open Air Cabins
At Crossing Creeks Farm, we are passionate about producing pasture-raised, organic fed, soy-free food for our family's table and yours. We are now offering our private farm campsite complete with outdoor bathhouse and picnic pavilion to guests. This site offers many comforts of home while still enjoying the outdoors unplugged. Upon arrival, park in front of our farm store where we will meet you with our tractor and wagon to load your belongings to be delivered to the campsite. Check-in is 2-6 pm Central time (please no late check-ins).
Our private campsite sits in the bend of one of our farm's creeks with two large old trees in the middle, along with a fire pit, picnic pavilion, 2 Adirondack cabins, and an outdoor bathhouse. Whether you are booking for just yourself or a group up to 10, you have the entire campsite to yourself during your stay. The nightly price includes the campsite for 2 guests, each additional guest (including children) is an additional fee per guest per night. Each Adirondack cabin can sleep up to 5. Each is complete with a queen bed, twin bunk bed and a cot. Linens are provided but feel free to bring your own too. Please bring your own pillows. You will need to bring towels and washcloths for the outdoor bathhouse. The bathhouse includes a shower with hot water, toilet/changing stall, and outdoor sink for washing hands and dishes. There is no electricity in the campsite so please bring flashlights/lanterns. The pavilion and bathhouse have beautiful solar powered string lights that automatically come on at dark.
The listing includes access to the campsite with fire pit, camp stove with griddle, charcoal grill, picnic pavilion, 2 hammocks and outdoor private bathhouse. For more details, please visit our website at www.crossingcreeks.com and click on the Visit page more info, including a video of the campsite. Also, book a farm tour and horseback riding lesson for during your stay on our website. And be sure to reserve a spot in our dog park for some off leash fun with your pup!
The campsite sits just outside our horses' pasture. So while sipping your morning cup of coffee, you may see horses or wild turkey or even deer. And with our farm store just a short walk from the campsite, you can pick up fresh eggs for breakfast or a juicy steak for dinner. We also have plenty of fire wood, fire starters, charcoal and bagged ice available for purchase. Also enjoy a walk on our private farm walking trails.
Our farm is located only 1.5 miles off the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, which offers great tourism opportunities at distilleries such as Jack Daniels in Lynchburg, George Dickel and Nearest Green. The historic town of Bell Buckle is only 6 miles from our farm and offers great shopping (lots of antiques), seasonal craft fairs/events and dining. And with so many water sources like Normandy Lake, Duck River, Tim's Ford Lake and the Elk River nearby, the day adventures- kayaking, swimming and fishing-are endless. With Nashville just an hour away, the opportunities for making great memories are abundant.
Focus on packing your clothes, pillows, bath linens, food/cooler, plates, cups, utensils, and toiletries. We supply dish soap, toilet paper, trash bags, charcoal, fire starters, propane for the cooking stove, basic cooking utensils for the grill, a few pots and pans, a coffee percolator, a lantern for each cabin and chairs for around the fire pit.
