David Laird Campground — Reviews

My repeated attempts to contact the "lady" that is responsible for the campground went unanswered, so my concerns were ignored. The grounds crew does a really good job, but the lack of overall staffing is causing serious safety issues for paying campers. This campground has the potential to be amazing with different leadership

Service connections to far from campsites. Require alot of extra extensions.

We did not book a site until we arrived. The office staff advised we had to book online, which is fine. There is an issue at the campground where the utilities are scattered all over the place, so we walked around until we found a site with water and electric the we could reach. There are some site where I honestly could not find either the water or electric post. The park is very attractive, but needs alot of maintenance. Some site are over grown and closed. One bath house is closed. The bath house that is open was clean and in good repair, but needs painting and some general maintenance.

It was adequate but seemed run down. The bathroom could have been tidier. Only one bathroom building was open and was a ways away from our campsite. The shower area was a little muddy so I am not sure when it was last cleaned. Of the 3 stalls in the women’s bathroom, only worked.

The campsite is very peaceful in a treed setting. A great campsite for a few nights, with toilets and shower facility. It’s five minutes from the highway.

It is a beautiful Campground, easy to book and friendly reception. I would have given five stars, but the road noise and the train that hunks every night is very loud.

Loved the trees and the ease of checking in. Just a quick pull in for the night. Full services is key for us

Was nice just didn’t know how close to the hwy it was.

Nice campground, quiet, tons of trees, price was reasonable. The negative - our site had the water, power and sewer spread out a huge distance from each other. We had to buy another extention cord to reach, and wasn't able to connect to the sewer while connected to the other two. Not a deal breaker but frustrating.

Only complaint was thr wifi wasnt working
