Duke Creek Campground — Reviews

We had a FHU, pull thru site. WiFi never worked for us, but loved the campground. Was the perfect stay for biking the White Pine Trail

Pool was nice, horse riding was not advertised at all. Nothing set up for older children. Could use soccer, baseball field. Smaller children had a nice playground. Could use a jumping pillow. Campers/campsites by seasonal campers unoccupied or occupied were trashy. Disappointed

Dukes Campground was okay. It was smaller than what we thought for our 45 foot class A motor coach, My husband John backed that big rig in that spot like he had been doing it his whole life. there were many seasonal campers there when we arrived on Monday afternoon. but campground cleared out pretty quickly after that. there are some bike/horse trails that were fun to ride our Ebikes on. there is a pool on site but we did not use. there was a bathhouse we did use it either but it looked nice i would have used if there would have been a need. I had alot of fun regardless....

There was No WiFi, even though that is why we booked there. The ground was incredibly rocky.

Great amenities and spacious shady sites, along with nice hiking/biking trails. I only wish the site had more grass and less dirt. No good places for our dogs to hangout and lay down. In addition, there was a long of pot-smoking at the campground that was not well policed. It’s not usually a concern for us, but we had small children and an infant with us who did not need to be inhaling the second-hand smoke. We called the office several times but nothing was done.

Very nice clean and quiet great pool

Nice park. A bit close together and not very level. Overall a good campground.

I love all the trees the walking trail. Staff was very nice and welcoming. There were lots of kids having loads of fun.

The mgt is very nice! The playground is large and lots of options for kids to play on. The wagon and tractor rides were fun for the little kids. The pool was clean. We didn’t use the bathrooms so no feedback on that. The downsides are that they seem to have a TON of seasonal sites and many aren’t kept up very well so it’s kind of sad to see. We don’t like the vibe of camping around mostly seasonals… it’s like we are intruding on their home (cause we kind of are in a sense). We had a great site in front of the creek - site 113 or 114 I forget which one. The other sites seemed pretty cramped.
