It’s a nice quiet campground with a picturesque waterfall and great views of the St John river. The staff is outstanding. They are very friendly and helpful.

This has to be the best campground we have stayed in 6 years of being full time. Jim was welcoming and our spot was right across from the waterfall. There is direct access to the St John River. Our stay was wonderful and so relaxing. If you are in the area this is the place to stay.

The big hill coming into and out of the campsite were certainly a deterrent but the park itself was lovely

Beautiful setting by the river. Sites large with hedges between. Only trouble we had was the entrance. My husband didnt tealize the switchback was as sharp as it was. Hadvto back up several times to make it. Wouldnt recommend attempting if you are pulling a trailer 26ft or longer if you are new to pulling a trailer. Ask the owners if they might help you. There is another driveway that you use to exit that is easy to navigate. To exit camping area you go over the wooden bridge & follow driveway to road. When we were having difficulty entering at swithback we kept wondering what would happen if another trailer met us . There are no signs showing entrance is oneway. Signs would help showing its oneway & a sign showing way to exit. We were only there one night so didnt have time to fish. Nice area by river to fish. Clean washrooms & clean campsites.
