Eagle Falls Campground — Reviews

Very friendly host and nice clean bathrooms with warm showers, private waterfall, glow worms and access to the river. The water did taste weird - however we didn’t complain about it with the host- and we were missing a place to wash dishes.

The park was very well maintained and right on St. John River. The owners were very nice and helpful with directions and suggestions on what to do while there. Conveniently located close to the gorge. The only downside was the steep drive down to the actual camp site.

It is a newer campground that is still under development. The setting is absolutely beautiful by the river and the couple who own it are lovely to deal with. If you have a toad, you should stop at the office and unhook before making it down the hill.

Host was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were clean and modern. There is a great launch to kayak up stream into the Grand Falls canyon. A great sight.

Great camping area, once you get down the hill. Camping along the river was great, and hearing the beautiful water fall in the background was perfect. Jim was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend and will stay again.

A Great Place to stay near the River. Don't be surprised, the path to the campsite is very steep. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I can fully recommend this campsite.

This campsite was absolutely peaceful and well worth the stop! We were going to stay for one night and it was so nice we stayed for two!! The hairpin turns coming into the coming into the campsite was a bit of a challenge with our 36 ft motorhome but my husband did well driving in and I am so glad we made it. Everyone should come and stay at Eagle Falls you will love it! ❤️

Beautiful setting and wonderful hosts

What a gem of a campsite we found! Not far from Grand falls and on the river. Owner Jim was nice enough to provide free firewood. Showers and washrooms are top notch clean. Would stay here again if we lived closer.

Jim is a terrific host! Beautiful well maintained campsites right on the river. Couldn't ask for any better!

Satisfactory campsite. Base of former gravel pit adjacent to river, little tree cover apart from ornamental cedar plantings. Shower facilities new. Constant traffic noise from highway across river.

Nearly Perfect stay! We missed a sink to do the dishes. For the ultimate stay. The Host was really friendly and showed us the Place - gave us also free firewood. Quiet Spot and a nice River in front of the Campground :)

Beautiful spot on the St John River. Lovely level serviced spots with cedar hedges and grass. A lot of effort has gone into creating a nice environment here. Clean and so picturesque. Waterfall and river lookout. Entry is tight turns and steep hill down so not for big rigs. We were 25 ft plus tv and that would be maximum.
